Bazaar Behavior!

I didn't think it was possible, but this year's Holiday Bazaar was the best one yet!  Thank you to all the parent volunteers that make this event such a wonderful experience each year.  The kids have a blast, learn about giving, "manage" money, and enjoy time with friends.

Happy Holidays!

Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel...

Tons of fun in homeroom this morning as Sammy and her mom read us a story about why Hanukkah is celebrated, explained how the menorah is lit each night, and taught us how to clean up playing dreidel.  A huge thank you!

It's a Bird! It's a Plane! It's the Air and Space Museum!

Thanks to the amazing support of our fearless parent volunteers, the third grade had an incredible field trip, on Thursday, at the Air and Space Museum in D.C.  We went on a wonderful history of flight tour, where we got to show off our knowledge of the Wright Brothers, learned more about the race to space, got to see some actual rockets, and competed in a paper airplane contest (it's all about stability).  Needless to say, it was an amazing opportunity and a great way to finish out our Explorers and Adventurers Unit!
