Just Plain Cool!

Right before Spring Break, Mrs. Stamper brought in her very own 3-D printer to show our class how an invention can help you to be a inventor.  We were mesmerized by the machine's capabilities, excited to try our hand designing our own tags, and thankful for this amazing opportunity!

Industrious Inventions and Inventors

To say that yesterday's field trip was amazing, incredible, and in my opinion the best one to date, would be an understatement!  From the bus arriving 20 minutes early (that's right early!) to the kids working in teams to create their own roller coasters, everything was terrific!  The teacher in me glowed with pride as I was able to see my students, your children, blow the tour guides away with their answers to questions about inventions and industry.  They then asked their own insightful questions, which made it clear that they were making connections left and right and taking what they have been learning over the past couple months, and extending it.  It was just so cool!
